The GWS 2:2:1 jaw folder is very versatile. Customers use it in cold web applications such as printing daily newspapers or circulators, book printers use it for accurately quarter folding heavy stock that cannot show gusseting, and as shown here, in a heat set application.

This particular Australian customer has 5 Global Web G100 4 high towers that are all shaftless. The press is a combination heat set/cold web plant. The units are equipped with motorized side lay and circumferential controls, a closed loop register system, motorized ink key controls, and are oil cooled because they often run at 40,000 IPH!
